Social Media Club

Social Media Club's primary mission is to promote media literacy, promote standard technologies, encourage ethical behavior and share best practices. We bring together the people who create and consume media who have an interest in seeing the ‘media industry’ evolve for everyone’s benefit. We are more than just USERS, we are the reason the tools exist - we are the people who communicate our thoughts and ideas near and far.

We are the first student chapter in Texas and are prepared to offer our student members the opportunities of furthering their technical knowledge and networking with professionals from many different fields.

We do not require you to know anything about Social Media, we just want you to be ready to learn. We have members ranging in majors from health to communication. There is something to learn for everyone.

Our next meeting will be October 7th, 6 p.m., in Old Main room # 232.
